We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Learning Support Assistants to join us at our Rainbow Family Centre (which offers an inclusive nursery service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs) to help us deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children.

We have one position that will support babies from the age of 0 – 2 years old and the other post will support toddlers.

We are interested in people who share our values and passion for enabling greater opportunities for people with learning disabilities and their families throughout their lives. If you share the same passion then we want to hear from you.

We deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

The post holder will contribute to planning and providing a safe, supportive, fun and stimulating environment for each child attending the centre. You will deliver a high standard of development and care for children who attend the Rainbow Nursery.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a Level 2 Childcare recognisable qualification(s)
  • Have experience of working with young babies and upwards
  • Experience of working with SEN children

 

We offer continuing opportunities for learning and development together with regular supervisions and support, an excellent pension’s scheme. The job offer is subject to enhanced DBS checks and the take up of references and you must be over 18 years old to apply.
