We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner – Pre School Lead Deputy Manager to join us at our Rainbow Family Centre (which offers an inclusive nursery service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs) to help us deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children.

We require an experienced dynamic manager to develop and coordinate our special needs nursery and community Outreach Services. You will play an active part in the overall strategic development of an organisation leading in special needs in Westminster.

The post holder will contribute to planning and providing a safe, supportive, fun and stimulating environment for each child attending the centre. You must be willing to support children and young people with all areas of their lives, including personal care, moving and handling, daily living skills and development of communication skills and relationships as well as activity based support. You will deliver a high standard of development and care for children who attend the Rainbow Nursery.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a Level 3 Childcare recognisable qualification or equivalent
  • Have experience of working with children in an Early Years setting
  • Experience of working with SEN children

We offer continuing opportunities for learning and development together with regular supervisions/support and an excellent pension scheme. The job offer is subject to enhanced DBS checks and the take up of references and you must be over 18 years old to apply.
