We are excited to be holding another Recruitment Event on Wednesday 26 February 2020

The Westminster Society for People with learning disabilities have vacancies for full time, part time and sessional Support Workers to work with people with learning disabilities in our Adult services based in the London boroughs of Westminster, Camden, Islington and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. 

If you are looking for a career in social care and you understand the impact you can have as a support worker in delivering excellent support we would like to hear from you.

We are currently looking to develop team members who want to work in our Adult Services for people who have learning disabilities, as well as dementia, mental health issues, profound and multiple disabilities and aging.

You don’t need experience to work with us although you must have a positive attitude and be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities:

What happens on the day?

  • On the Recruitment Open Day you will learn more about the work we do and the career opportunities available for people who work for us.
  • You should arrive at the open day at either 10:00am or 12:00pm slot to register, and then you will proceed to the organisational presentation and a panel interview. The process will take approximately 2 hours, therefore please allow yourself sufficient time to complete the whole process.
  • Please be advised that due to the large volumes of people that attend we do take a photo of you on the day to keep with your application. If you are unsuccessful then this will be deleted off our records.
  • Candidates who are interested in receiving a job offer from the society should submit a completed application form by 5:00 pm on Friday 28 February 2020 to
  • Candidates who have been successful at interview stage will be invited to do a site visit at one of our services where an assessment will be carried out.
  • Successful candidates who have submitted their completed application forms and completed the site visit will be offered a position which is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks; this includes enhanced DBS, two satisfactory references covering 3 years employment history and right to work in the UK checks.
