202 – Learning Support Assistant

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant at our Rainbow Family Centre (which offers an inclusive nursery service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs) to help us deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children.

We deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant at our Rainbow Family Centre (which offers an inclusive nursery service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs) to help us deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children.

The post holder will contribute to planning and providing a safe, supportive, fun and stimulating environment for each child attending the centre. You will deliver a high standard of development and care for children who attend the Rainbow Nursery.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a Level 2 Childcare recognisable qualification(s)
  • Have experience of working with young children with and without disabilities
  • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Be motivated and committed
  • Have effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing
  • Have Knowledge and understanding of good nursery practice
  • Awareness of the Safeguarding and relevant legislations

We offer continuing opportunities for learning and development together with regular supervisions and support, Subject to enhanced DBS checks and the take up of references and you must be over 18 years old to apply.
