We are excited to be holding another Recruitment Open Day on Wednesday 27 March 2019

The Westminster Society for People with learning disabilities have vacancies for full time, part time and sessional Support Workers to work with people with learning disabilities in our Adult services based in the London boroughs of Westminster, Camden, Islington and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

If you are looking for a career in social care and you understand the impact you can have as a support worker in delivering excellent support we would like to hear from you.

We are currently looking to develop team members who want to work in our Adult Services for people who have learning disabilities, as well as dementia, mental health issues, profound and multiple disabilities and aging.

You don’t need experience to work with us although you must have a positive attitude and be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities:

What happens on the day?

On the Recruitment Open Day you will learn more about the work we do and the career opportunities available for people who work for us. 

  • You should arrive at the open day any time between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm to register, and participate in a pre-screening and if successful then you will proceed to the organisational presentation, panel interview, group activity and written assessment. The process will take approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours, therefore please allow yourself sufficient time to complete the whole process.
  • Candidates who are interested in receiving a job offer from the society should submit a completed application form by 5:00 pm on Friday 29 March 2019 to recruitment@wspld.org
  • Successful candidates who have submitted their completed application forms will receive a job offer on Monday 1 April 2019, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, which includes enhanced DBS, two satisfactory references covering 3 years employment history and right to work in the UK checks.
