We deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner at our Rainbow Family Centre (which offers an inclusive nursery service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs) to help us deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children.

We are currently looking for an Early Years Practitioner who:

  • Must hold a recognised NNEB or NVQ level 3 or above qualification
  • Have experience of working with children with disabilities
  • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • To be motivated and committed
  • Effective communication and develop partnerships with parents, team members and other professionals
  • Knowledge and understanding of good nursery practice
  • Awareness of the Safeguarding and relevant legislations

The Hours:

This post is full – time (37.5 hours – Monday to Friday per week, throughout the year, Early Years nursery for 2 – 5 year olds and 5 – 10 year olds during holiday periods.

We offer continuing opportunities for learning and development together with regular supervisions and support, Subject to enhanced DBS checks and the take up of references and you must be over 18 years old to apply.
