We deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

Our ethos of inclusion, consultation, choice and partnership with children, young people and their families is at the heart of what we do.

We are currently looking for a Cook who: 

• Have experience of working in a kitchen setting professionally
• Have knowledge of food hygiene practices and knowledge of allergies and impacts
• Ideally have experience of menu plan taking into consideration portions, allergies, dietary and age requirements. To factor in cultural needs and events into menus
• Ideally have experience working in early years settings
• Ability to maintain good stock control and storage of food, equipment and cleaning items in line with five star Environmental Health Food Hygiene and COSHH standards
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a positive non-judgmental approach
