We are looking for Sessional Support workers to work independently providing 1:1 care and meaningful activities in the home and in accessing local community facilities.
The Westminster Society delivers a range of exciting, creative and innovative short break support for children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.
We are looking for Sessional Support workers to work independently providing 1:1 care and meaningful activities in the home and in accessing local community facilities. In addition on a 1:1 basis we provide coaching and buddying support to children and young people from the ages of 2 to 25 years enabling families to reach their desired goals.
To work for us you will need excellent communications skills, a positive non-judgemental and supportive approach to families, safeguarding knowledge and team work. You must be willing to support children and young people with all areas of their lives including personal care, moving and handling and development of independent living skills.
We offer continuing opportunities for learning and development together with regular supervision and support.
