Active Adventures in Lanzarote

Seven people with learning disabilities took the trip of a life time to Lanzarote and conquered activities they never thought possible. The group took advantage of the fantastic opportunities and challenged themselves to surfing, camel riding and much mu
The group left early on April 20th and made their journey to sunny Lanzarote. They were welcomed by the friendly and organised Active Adventures Team and taken to the hotel. The holiday went from one adventure to another, with the group tackling surfing, camel rising, sailing, Go karting, wine tasting, volcano Trekking and beach games.
Each day produced a new challenge which everyone enjoyed. They even managed to take some time out and relax by the pool or shop in the local markets. Everyone received an Active Adventure certificate and have souvenier photos to remind them of everything they achieved and all the fun they had.
We would like to say a special thank you to Adrian Fairbourn for all his fundraising efforts to make these holidays possible and to the Active Adventure Team for organising the activities in Lanzarote and making the holiday a dream come true.
