LDN Living 4 U
LDN Living 4 U is our service which supports people to create their own personalised packages of support and enables people with their own personal budget or individual service fund to choose the support they want; in the way they want it.
We will work with each person to develop their own tailor made package of support with a menu of options which can include support with; education, employment, social leisure, health and well being, fitness, independent living skills and travel.

Personalisation
We aim to be the organisation people choose to support them through their lives. We will only achieve this aim if we are truly person centred in what we do and how we do it.
Personalisation means starting with the person as an individual with strengths, preferences and aspirations and putting them at the centre of the process of identifying their needs and making choices about their support.
Staff are key to delivering person-centred services. Staff recruitment and development, policies and working practices should support and promote the principles of personalisation and create possibilities for flexibility, creativity and innovation in service delivery
Personalisation means a change in demands and expectations and the types of services and funding available as purchasing power moves away from local authorities towards people who use services
We are continually developing our services and approaches to put people with learning disabilities at the heart of what we do.
As well as our housing services which can all be purchased through personal budgets, our Community Support Team provides a range of tailor made communtiy support packages to people with learning disabilities varying from 3 hours per week to 24 hours per day.
We can provide support in any area of a person's life.
This includes:
- management of finances such as bill payments, benefits and banking
- tenancy and housing related issues
- community networks and personal safety
- communication, relationships and emotional wellbeing
- education, learning and employment
- friendships, social life and holidays
- cooking, cleaning and shopping
- health, medical appointments and medication
- cultural and religious interests and needs
- person centred planning and circles of support
- personal care
Our costs are transparent and we are able to accept direct payments and personal budgets.
In addition to this our wide range of group sessions, activities and drop-in support provided by LDN Living enables individuals to choose the type of activity they would like to be supported with.
