Training for Staff and Volunteers

The Training Service aims to ensure that all the people who work for us to receive high quality training and support. This enables them to develop the skills and awareness necessary to provide high quality services to people with learning disabilities.

We currently run around 50 different courses for our staff and volunteers covering topics including health and safety subjects, communication skills, disability awareness, team
development and management skills. We provide NVQ training for support workers and managers.

We are also able to give team training or individual coaching, and have a library of disability related and management development resources.
