Shirland Road

Shirland Road is a Registered Care Home which provides support and accommodation to a maximum of 6 people, both male and female with varying levels of learning disability and support needs.

The service users at present are between the age of early 30s and mid 50s.

Support and Services

Shirland RoadService users are encouraged to learn new skills and take an active role in their own development and the running of their home.  They are encouraged to recognise and work towards their full potential in all areas of their lives, such as personal hygiene, budgeting, domestic chores, health, education and cooking.

The team take on a holistic approach to their work, ensuring all areas of a persons life are supported through the use of person centred planning, coordinated by an identified link worker.

The Team

The team consists of a Team Manager, an Assistant Team Manager, 6 Full time Support Workers and 2 Part Time Support Workers. The service receives direct line management support from the Service Manager.
