Fundraising

Fundraising is a vital part of our organisation. It helps us to maintain and expand the services we offer people with learning disabilities in Westminster.

The Westminster Society relies on a good funding mix to provide these services including funding from Westminster City Council, grants and trusts and voluntary fundraising activities.

Voluntary fundraising activities are coordinated by the Appeals Committee alongside Laurence Swan, our Fundraising Manager.

Over the last few years we have organised events and fundraising initiatives such as:

  • An Evening with Ronnie Corbett
  • A Jazz Brunch
  • Places in the Edinburgh Marathon
  • A Drinks Reception at Lord's
  • Recycling mobile phones
  • Recycling computer printer cartridges
  • A Sponsored Trek
  • An Evening with Sandy Toksvig
  • Our annual Mince pie party
  • A Table Top Sale for the local Community at Rainbow Family Centre

Come and get involved, make new friends and help us raise the money which makes such a difference to people with learning disabilities living in Westminster. Find out more about how you can help:
